The scanner is user friendly, quick and copes extremely well with documents containing many pages. It very rarely jams and when it does it is usually because of poor quality paper.
The one thing which I dislike is when a jam does occur, the screen which you call up to scan can sometimes get "lost" and is usually found on the desk top. It is usually easier to close down and reopen which doesn't take long but is inconvenient. |

The Panasonic KVS2026C is an excellent scanner, and has many things to commend it. First of all it's easy to use both physically and in respect of the RTIV software. The paper feed is very reliable providing you follow the maker's instructions, which are sensible; very rarely is there a jam, and many different types of paper are easily handled. The software is well layed out and the icons are intuitive. There are also many useful features including the ability to save your own scan settings, which if done at the outset, makes the scanner fit your own purpose from the beginning.
The scanner is very robust; it's used every day to a great extent in our office environment, where scanning is a very important part of our system. The speed of the scanner is very respectable and we have not found this to be a drawback, although time is of the essence for everyone and this is not the fastest scanner on the market.
The colour reproduction is also excellent: we use it to scan important photographs with great results, although high resolution colour scanning is considerably slower as is to be expected.
Overall this is an excellent scanner and great value for money. We now buy only Panasonic scanners having tried several different brands over the last few years. They are very reliable and give outstanding results with software that is fully featured. |

These compact scanners have high durability and reliable paper handling along with a scanning ability of over 3 million pages (one of the highest performance figures in its class).
