Keeping your shredder well lubricated is an essential part of ensuring the long, smooth running of the unit.

After a period of time shredders that are not oiled will start to shred fewer sheets, be prone to jamming and may affect your manufacturers warranty.

Appears well made, reasonably quiet, so far has not shown any signs of cloging probably because it has a short over run after shredding a document. Due to the diamond cut format the shred paper is compact so it takes a lot of shredded paper to fill the basket. Being on our third shredder, this one will get regular oiling with "Shredder Oil". Service is also impecable.
